Verifying the Power Connection to the D-Link Router
Verify you have power at the source. You can do this by plugging another device in the outlet, Like a hair Dryer, a Desk lamp or any other small household appliance. You won’t believe how many people call support when the socket they are tring to use has an on switch on the other side of the room.
Note would be a good idea to use a power source that is not connected to a switch at the door next to the room’s Lamp switch!
Verify that the Power LED is lit solid green. If it is not:
