What is a privacy policy?
A privacy policy is a statement that describes the type of information collected on a Web site, how the information is used, how an individual can access the data collected from him or her, and what steps are required to have the personal data removed. It may also include the security measures that are used to protect the information that is collected.
A link to most Internet sites Privacy policy is included at the bottom of every Web page.
