Will the wireless adapters I already have work with Fios Internet Service? Depending on the speed package you ordered, your current adapters may or may not work. Fios recommends 802.11g adapters for all speeds
Notes From the Fios Installation Guide:
Wireless Adapters When ordering Verizon Fios Internet Service, you can choose to upgrade to a Verizon Online-approved Wireless Broadband router. This router can be used both with and without wires. If you would like to use the router's wireless capabilities, you will need a wireless adapter for each PC and laptop you connect to Fios. Some newer computers have built-in wireless capabilities and do not require a separate adapter.
